英语方位介词主要有：on、under、behind、in、near、above、beloy thigh.（狗在我的腿下面，狗与腿之间是不接触的。）
狗正坐在我腿的下面。
My homey desk.（作业在桌子下，作业与桌子之间是不接触的。）
我的作业在我的书桌下面。

In 一把都表示在…的内部；在…的里面。比如：
The pan is in the box.（in the box 表示在盒子的里面。）
我的钢笔在盒子里面。
I put some meat in the dinner.（in the dinner表示在晚饭里面。）
我在晚饭里面放了一些肉。

Behind 表示在某物体的后面。比如：
My ball is behind the door.（behind the door表示在门的后面。）
我的球在门的后面。
The children is hiding behind the tree.（behind the tree表示在树的后面。）
孩子们都藏在树的后面。
Near 表示在某物的附近，也可以翻译成为接近或者靠近。

The animal is

near the river. （near the river表示在小溪的附近。）
动物一般出现在小溪的附近。
The dog is near the tree. （near the tree表示在树的附近。）
小狗在树的旁边。

除了上面一到的五个常用的方位介词，还有一些方位介词短语也需要重点学习。比如：in the front of（在…的前面）、in the middle of（在…的中间）、in the back row（在后排）等等。
